Rainio, Tuomo

Visual artist Tuomo Rainio works at the Academy of Fine Arts as a lecturer in Art and Technology. In his artistic work, he combines algorithmic methods with photography and video image processing. By utilizing programming, Rainio's works combine conceptuality, writing, code and image. At the center of the artistic work are questions about the conditions of the perception, noise and the essence of the digital images.
